She really appreciates a good kit kat bar. I mean REALLY appreciates it. Last night I had a wonderful time eating, laughing and playing cards with my new friends (and met the first person who would own up to being on Team Edward in public – ha!) and this morning, I’m looking at the aftermath: three or four wrappers strewn across her father’s desk, most likely a bribe for good behavior basic compliance. No wonder she didn’t want to go to bed last night. She was fueled by caffeine AND sugar. Tonight, there’s a new sheriff in town, see, and the holiday candy express will be slowing down quite a bit, if not coming to a stop altogether.
