After the Rain.

This morning I was awakened around 6 o’clock by Al telling me that there was a blackout. Sure enough, there was. We got dressed, went for a ride (to what I thought was the dry side of the mountains – I only gave up after the storm got worse and worse) and came back home for lunch (to keep food from spoiling or anything, we went out to eat. I learned that Wendy’s doesn’t use foil on their burgers anymore. LOL. I also learned that I’m nowhere near the adventurous eater I used to be, steering clear of a burger called the baconator even though it had applewood bacon. )

The lights came on around 3 to cheers all over the house. I’m glad. It was starting to get cold.
