One of my greatest hopes for my daughter is that she will grow up to be the kind of woman who can embrace herself as the gorgeous, wonderful creation of God that she is, just as she is. Messages are sent forth into society every day that the key to a wonderful existence on this earth is to be young, stick-thin and beautiful. I’m so glad that young ladies like Crystal Renn are brave enough to step forward and tell their stories. It gives me hope that while my daughter will learn the importance of nutrition and exercise, she’ll also experience the freedom that comes with the acceptance that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes.
