Yeah, I said it. No I have not lost my mind. LOLOL. The Root has an interesting article about the race to fill in the New Orleans seat soon to be vacated by C. Ray Nagin due to term limits. I’m no big fan of the actor (though he can act and he is quite purdy), but the man HAS managed to get more houses built in the ninth ward than just about anybody I can think of off of the top of my head. I really think the political machines that stand the chance of winning the election have done the least for the city of New Orleans, but then again, this is not new. Sad that the more things change, the more they stay the same in Louisiana.

Very interesting. Good article and while I know that he will never be the Mayor of NO, let’s hope that the next mayor will actually do as much as BP has done for the city.
