125k a year teachers…

I’ve heard about the plans to put this school together for a couple of years now. I hope it is a great success because I know a lot of highly gifted people who have left or avoided careers in the field of education because of the paltry pay that teachers make. I know that the freedom to create and innovate in the classroom (you know, while not being worried about providing one’s own supplies on a paltry salary) will make a tremendous difference in the growth of the students and the communities served.
