Can I have a bailout, too?  I know it would be cheaper than AIG, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, even GM. Shoot.

I understand that the auto industry in this country is being hit hard after the high fuel costs, plummeting stock costs, and ongoing recession (uh, it’s been years now) that our outgoing presidential administration denied and denied and denied. But dang. Where is the accountability for the bad business practices, the lack of forethought concerning energy efficiency and other stuff that the american auto industry did wrong? You know, like spending more on lobbyists than uh, actual product innovation?
