Maybe I should go back to my old practice of tv free Monday nights.
Last night I was watching Amer.ican Glad.i.ators and there was this dude on talking about how he is teaching his sons some moves. He said he taught his two year old a head butt. I was sitting there like, he had to teach his son a head butt? Max (his father calls him pocket Hercules, smh) isn’t even two yet and he has several variations down pat. Maybe he’s gifted?
Speaking of kids and learning,
I read a really interesting article in the New York Times about the debate about the effects of time spent on the internet on the literacy of America’s youth. I think that the internet holds a lot of useful information, but it’s always better for kids when they are as well rounded as possible, which includes book experience as well as proficiency with the informal style of internet communication.
