359 bucks could buy quite a few books, but…

I have been seeing, but not seeing Amazon’s kindle since they announced its release. Today, it finally dawned on me that I could eliminate the need of dealing with stacks of books if I got one. I could read my book, keep it or delete it and not take nearly as much space. I wouldn’t have to carry the book around to read it. None of that stuff. Now all I have to do is convince myself that it really is a sound purchase in the days of 100 dollar gasoline and shrinking groceries. Now THAT might take a minute. Blasted gadgets. Sigh.
