While I’m thankful for visits to the zoo…

with Little A, I am also thankful for coats

umbrellas, and indoor exhibits.

Thankful that I decided to bring our family vehicle

instead of riding the bus

thankful for the warmth of home

and the promise of future visits to the zoo with the other kids

and the fact that my husband watched the boys

while Little A and I went on our journey.

I’m really thankful for brown bag lunches

and the capn crunch shake I treated myself too.

I’m going to walk/run a few miles to get rid of it

but I’m still thankful.
