Green shopping.

This is the second article in a series. The first was the one on pocketbook patriotism. The carbon footprint graphic made me think. I found it really interesting that in order for a steak to be processed, 22 pounds of carbon dioxide would have to be released into the atmosphere. I’m never going to look at a steak the same again. We recycle a lot, but I really want to look into making sure that we use more locally made goods and those from green companies. One of our local grocers is in the process of going green, so that should make it a little easier.
