I’ve been really trying to buy American made goods whenever possible for some time now. I’ve always driven American cars (with the exception of one Mazda) because my dad, granddad, uncles, and even my mom have at one point worked for General Motors, and they DID put me through college. I run into difficulty from time to time, but I’ve found a ton of antique stores, so maybe I’ll find some American goodies to decorate the house with. I’m glad to read that I’m not alone in my desire to support American businesses first. More people who live in the U.S. should be interested in the fact that our country has been operating at a trade deficit since the 70s and the fact that our country currently operates at a 708 BILLION dollar trade deficit. We import almost a trillion dollars more than we export. What’s up with that?
