April 4.

Forty years ago Martin Luther King Jr. was killed in Memphis. A lot has changed in this country and a lot has not. I’d like to think that more has changed. My children have options in life that I probably could never dream of. I’ve had opportunities that my parents did not think were a reality. And I believe that was the point of all of this. Behind all of the labels and soundbites and distortions. The pursuit of hope for a better future for everybody.

If Dr. King could see today that an African American man actually has a shot at becoming the next President of the United States of America, look how far his Dream has come.

    It is amazing.
