Every now and then I make fresh hummus for my husband. He really likes it. I do too. I hope I don’t run into trouble getting garbanzos. See, garbanzos are the new edamame (you know, those soy beans that people snack on in the pod) and they are a main ingredient of my hummus. Most of the time when a food becomes popular, it just means that maybe I have to shop in the middle of the week as opposed to the end because it might get bought out. Other times the price goes way up. And I think gas prices are giving me enough excitement where costs are concerned.
