I think that the absolutely coolest thing about living where I live is the fact that between 30-45 minutes (depending on traffic) I can go from my front door to mountains, waterfalls, streams, rivers and lakes. We’ve lived here almost a decade and have barely scratched the surface, but every time we go, I see something new. Today, I took a picture that looked a lot like the photo on the bottom while I was standing in the exact spot that is in the photo on the right. Right in front of that teeny tiny white building. I have seen all kinds of natural beauty from ocean to mountain to just about everything in between, but this place is amazing to me. Every time we come out here we see something new. Every time we venture to a new mountain or beach or river, we see something new. I know that the whole saying that something takes one’s breath away has been done to death, but air does escape me when I imagine that this is not even a drop of water in the sea of God’s handiwork. I’m really thankful that I can share this with the people that I love.

Breathtaking! I would love to see that and be reminded of God’s glory on a regular basis.
