Hmmm.

I was not happy to read about John Edwards dropping out of the presidential race this morning. If there is another democratic candidate debate, who’s going to keep things focused on the issues? Who’s going to be the mature adult? Oh well. I guess that’s why I’m an independent. Moving right along.

I’ve been really working on getting things together for 2008. Staying focused on staying healthy, kicking up the exercise routine a notch, working on other goals for our family, getting ready for all kinds of events this year. I found out about a great photography class that I wanted to take. I am so bummed that it is offered in August, you know that month when I am going to be on at least two trips already. There is another course offered in October, so there is hope.

There was this neat idea about coming up with one word to summarize what I want to do this year and using it for focusing purposes and stuff like that. Sort of having a theme. I have a few word ideas, but I haven’t narrowed it down yet. To help me to stay on course and not be discouraged when all of these new goals and situations go haywire.
