This morning, I got up a bit late to hit the gym for my usual cardio, so I went speed walking. Unfortunately it was really really dark, or so I thought at first. The funny thing is that the moon was so bright that I just found myself looking up. The stars were just these tiny twinkling sapphires on royal silk. It was breathtaking, and not nearly as bad as my pre-dawn walks can be. You know, walking fast and eyes wide open so I don’t get hit by any wayward vehicles. LOL. I found myself wishing that I could have shared some of those moonlit moments with my husband. Maybe there is hope for me yet.
