Keeping it moving.

I don’t know why, but almost a year ago, when I decided to find a gym and start exercising on a regular basis again, I was determined that I would not quit no matter what. Got sick. Went back to it after I got well. Missed a week because of vacation or whatever. Went back. Plateaus got hit. Kept working. My first gym even closed. Got a new one.
Had I become that tired of not being in the best shape that I could be in? That I absolutely refused to go back to going even close to being where I was? To just chill? Maybe the memories of those lost to diabetes, stroke and other ailments whose chances can be greatly reduced by staying in shape just won’t leave me. Or the high blood pressure that is very present among some in my family. Whatever the reason is, I’m thankful to be off to the gym again.
