Random Monday Stuff.

I really need a popsicle. The hot water heater has gone out, and there is this BIG YELLOW warning that if I dont drain every faucet on the thing, it may explode or cause a big fire. Since I don’t want to be on the news, I’m going to have a professional take a look at it. The thought of a cold shower after my workout before dawn almost makes me want to take my chances though.

I read about Danica McKellar, the actress who played Winnie on The Wonder Years, and her latest book, which encourages young girls who may be having difficulties in math. Even though the content is a little fluffy in places, it has received great acclaim. McKellar is a mathematician who co-authored a mathematical physics theorem. I am all for anything that helps girls work harder in math.
