All over the place on Thursday.

Whew. Tomorrow is Friday. Not much going on that I know of. I’ll go take a walk over to the Farmer’s market and see if I can get some good fruit or veggies or something. Little A will most likely be going to school this summer. They get about a month off between June and July and all of October, so it will balance out. Other than that and her appointments and biding time until she gets her cast off, I have no idea what we will be doing this Summer. Those are usually the best ones. When you just up and decide to go places and do stuff. There’s lots to do out here.

Has everybody seen this photo (John Moore – Getty Images)? It really makes me think on so many levels. About what Memorial Day is really about. And the sacrifices of soldiers. And the fact that they dont EVEN get paid well. And their families. About the War in Iraq. How we got into that war because the overwhelming majority of congress did not have the guts to stand up and say that the evidence was flimsy at best. How hard it must be to lose a fiance (like the woman in the pic) or a spouse (like my mother in law). How you are just living life and making basic plans and it is all over.
