Happy Birthday to Me!!!

Yep. I’m a year older (and hopefully wiser or prettier or something). I got some spectacular gifts for my birthday and I had so many wishes from friends and family that I really didnt need any gifts. The greetings just made my day. My husband got me a birthday cake that was nicer than anything I could ask for. I am so thankful for another year with my loved ones. I’m still working out and that’s a gift in itself.

And speaking of working out…

A few weeks ago this new gym opened not as close to home as mine, but pretty close. It is huge and shiny and everything. I sure had been thinking of making a change, but I decided to honor my contract, I showed up to work out Saturday and the state had closed down my health club. Something about the owners owing over a hundred thousand in sales tax money or something, according to the local paper. I read the notice on the door, burst out laughing and ran off to my new health club. I guess I’ll see all of my old health club buddies there. I’m not trying to be picky, but I need my health club to be OPEN when I want to work out. Tee hee hee.

About that Margarita.

I had two of them, they were those extra strong on the rocks types and so very much needed for Cinco de Mayo. I had to have one for last year since I couldnt have one because of the pregnancy. I think I needed it more this year anyway.

In other News…

The visit is working out well. There seems to be a bit of adjusting to stuff but things are working out fine. Today I dropped little A at preschool and she said bye and shooed me off. In thirty some odd years from now, she’s going to be asking me if her child could show a little more sadness to see her go. I’m just going to look over my glasses momentarily and procced to my scrapbooking or sewing or whatever project I’m working on.

So that’s about it. The sun is out today (finally) AND my rhododendrons are in full bloom. My little plants are getting bigger and bigger every spring. I’m so excited. Then again it doesnt take much.
