It’s already Friday?

What a week, what a week! The sun is out again, so it looks like it is going to be a great great weekend. I hope that all of this mild weather means that the summer will be warm, yet tolerable, because last year it was ridiculous record breaking heat.

Little A’s favorite word these days is “share”. If she sees someone eating or drinking something that looks tasty, a high pitched, insistent “share” comes out. Note that “sharing” is not so important when she is enjoying food or toys or anything of the sort. It’s something how I know grown folks right now whose idea of sharing is not very different from my two year old’s. Hmmm.

Hopefully, this evening, the kids and I will take a nice, long walk and enjoy the beauty and fresh air outdoors. Who knows? Maybe I’ll actually get out into my flowerbed and clean it out. Days like this, I think about people who are dealing with serious stuff. Like Iraq, Darfur, Virginia Tech, all of those things. I try to remember how I’ve been blessed and how I need to share the blessings and love I’ve been given. Not just let it be one way like Little A’s is at the moment.
