Okay I’m back

sort of. A lot sure has happened this week. Right now, I’m recovering from my new healtier lifesyle. This morning, I did my standard workout. I cut short a few minutes because since the forecast was almost 80 degrees, I KNEW the kids and I would be doing something. By the time this afternoon had come around, running around after my kids and mediating their disputes had my thighs feeling a bit sore.
We went for a ride into the mountains and looked at the waterfalls and river and all that stuff. We stopped at a waterfall and did some hiking. By the time I got back the car, my butt and feet could be added to the sore list. And of course Al wanted to go to the top. Since I was pushing little A and Max in a stroller, I had to take a rain check.
It is so nice to get out into nature and breathe fresh air and stuff. A lot of folks got the same idea. That was cool. Everybody was courteous and what not. The Parks Service must have come upon some serious money behind those land sales or something because all of the national lands have these shiny sparkling new signs and gates and stuff. They even put fresh new landscaping at the outside boundary of the park. Everything is so new and white and sparkly. I’m kind of concerned about anything sparkly and new in this current presidential administration. Hee hee hee.
I can’t believe that the day is just about over. We spent around five hours in the mountains. I really hope all my East Coast people are alright, though most of em are getting snow. Easter Snow. Wow.

Sounds like a really nice day. We got ice here today. Not really a checking out nature mood making type of day.

    Glad you had fun.

Well that’s good then, cause they had two inches forecasted somewhere back East. I thought y’all were gonna get our kind of snow, like where the roads are blocked and stuff gets closed up, but I’m glad you didn’t.
