The Evolution of Summer Vacation.

Al used to be perfectly happy to go to our usual vacation hideouts. Today, he asked about going to Universal Orlando Resort. I asked why and he expressed interest in the super heroes and visiting Emeril Lagasse’s restaurant. I guess its another indicator that he’s growing up. Disneyworld used to be hot. Now, it’s all about Universal Studios. By the time we actually get to the brass tacks of planning our Orlando vacation there might be a serious clash. Little A hasn’t even begun to weary of getting in touch with her inner princess, and while Natu might be won over to the dark side, I have a feeling that baby Max isn’t going to be one of those kids who is just going to pass up his chance to get Mickey, Goofy and Donald’s autographs OR eat with Chip and Dale like Al did when he was about three or four. We’ve got time. Who knows, maybe they will all be ready for Universal by the time we actually go.
