About four years ago, my husband was offered a promotion and a fat raise to move to Farmington Hills, which is a suburb outside of Detroit. I have family in Michigan so I considered it. I supported his final decision to decline, even after the company threw in the kitchen sink and the bathtub too. I am SO thankful to God that I trusted my husband’s judgement, because he likes where he is now and this is the kind of stuff that is going on in the Detroit area.

No Camping till you’re twenty.
I’m so glad this ended well.

Could YOU dance with one leg?
I know a LOT of people tuned in to Dancing With the Stars to see if ol’ Heather could get around on that leg. She did better than some with two legs (Billy Ray Cyrus, what the world?) and that’s all I have to say about that.

    I can’t believe the cost of houses in Detroit. It’s unreal. I hope that May Kilpatrick has some way of combatting what’s happening there. It looks like he would be focusing on that rather than celebrating the fact that a condo sold for $1 million.

    I’m so glad that I don’t watch Dancing with the Stars. I wonder if they are going to let her off to deal with her divorce.

    In Detroit proper, houses have always been pretty cheap. Now the effects are being felt in the suburbs, too, so I’m sure somebody will feel the need to work on a solution.

    I’m sure she probably is working her court dates in and stuff.

    Wow those houses are dirt cheap. That’s a shame. Why can’t they get that economy back to par?

    I’m just not interested in seeing Heather try to milk sympathy out of the American people. You know they are going to give it to her too.

    Yes, she might be able to run with it for a little while, but eventually it boils down to having talent and/or being a well loved professional athlete.
