Scrapbooking and Stuff

Yep. Its that time again. I’m not entering any layouts, but I’ll be hanging around. There is another show a couple of hours from me, so maybe I’ll have some things I want to enter by then. Life sure has been busy since the last show. I had the baby, I’m getting things lined up for the kids for summer and stuff. Just phew. I think this rainy/cloudy weather (which we are having for the next two weeks, according to the weather people) inspires a need to go to sleep or something. I’m still reading. I’m reading at a little bit slower pace now that February is over, but I’m still reading. I’m reading about Chris Gardner, the man whose life inspired The Pursuit of Happyness. I always wondered about what happened to little Chris’ mother. What kind of woman she was. I found out. Sort of. There are always two sides to every story.
Yesterday I was thinking about how things that used to bother me a lot just dont have the ability to do so anymore. I do care about things and have feelings, but now I’m more of a how can we fix this situation type of person. Freaking out and stuff seems to take time away that could be spent resolving things. I guess that makes me come off as cold sometimes, so I guess its a balancing thing, facing problems and solving them without alienating those who are freaking out.
