Isn’t She Lovely? Pt. 2

I was flipping through an old magazine and I came across this ad for that Olay body wash with the body butter ribbons in it. This photograph just stopped me dead in my tracks. She looks so fierce! Look at her hands and her feet. She looks strong and elegant at least that’s how the photo struck me when I was flipping through the magazine. I was reminded that some people might be offended by this photograph, even though it isn’t my intent. I was even challenged that if I saw this photograph of a woman of a different race that I would think that it was, well, kinda hoish, given my somewhat conservative values. I dont think I would. I just think this woman is striking and powerful.
I guess that hoish is in the eyes of the beholder, but I really think this is a beautiful photograph, though one obviously retouched with the strategic ribbon. LOL.
