Brrr… It is still cold. I think today the high is supposed to be 35 degrees. Thirty five whole degrees. And it isn’t even December yet. It is starting to look like a flannel Christmas… Hee hee…

Louisiana Town Makes it Big in Movies…
Oh my goodness. I’m going to have to call my mama. People want to be filming all over Shreveport, Louisiana. SHREVEPORT. As in, you have to fly a crop duster nine times out of ten to even get into the city cause the airport landing strip could almost fit in my back yard Shreveport. First a black mayor (as racist as Shreveport can be, I really did look over my shoulder for the four horsemen of the apocalypse when my sister told me he got elected…lol) and now producers are flocking to film movies there. It actually happened because the state started giving some nice incentives to film in Louisiana (which meant mainly New Orleans), and after Katrina, producers looked at Shreveport, which is 350 miles north, and absolutely no where near being hit by a hurricane and somehow elusive of pesky paparazzi. Maybe they are scared of crop dusters. This may change as the city comes back from the storm, but something tells me it is going to be very interesting to observe the next time I go visit the folks…
