This stuff should be marketed as an antidepressant.

This past weekend, I was headed for a real funk. I was dealing with the whole Ed Bradley and Gerald Levert thing and pondering what in the world my purpose was on earth. I’ve accomplished some good things, and I am working to achieve a lot more and help a lot of people and all of those great sorts of things, but I was still feeling a bit down. Then we had yet another cloudy, dark, cold and rainy weekend. That just did not seem to help things much.

I got out my shea butter hairdress and my shea souffle and my shea soap… (Can you tell that I like shea butter? Hee hee hee) and just had a little mini shea spa. I was completely renewed once it was over, and the cloud of shea essence in the bathroom didn’t hurt things. No wonder African healers have been using the stuff for millenia, it is sooo nice when it’s done right. If it’s over heated, it crystallizes and that’s not fun, but when it’s melted and meted out properly, it just softens everything. Not to mention that smell. Oh my goodness. It completely turned my mood around.
