Abuse victims denied insurance.
In eight states (Idaho, Mississippi, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Wyoming) and the District of Columbia, insurance companies are allowed to deny or increase the cost of insurance to people they deem to be victims of domestic violence. Read more
