The Ones Who Got Away

Four of my wisdom teeth got away from me. They had been in my mouth for about two decades. I had seen them partially and felt them when they decided to completely surface in my mouth a few years ago, but when I looked at the dentist’s table and saw them, they were a lot bigger than I had expected. No wonder I feel like there is a huge void in the back of my mouth. They took up a lot of space. Though they could be really painful, I think I’m going to miss them a little.
