The good news is that Bank of America is ending overdraft charges. The bad news is that if you overcharge your debit account and don’t have overdraft protection, you purchase will simply be declined. If you have overdraft protection you will be advised about the potential of being charged an overdraft fee if the purchase (or ATM withdrawal) is processed. Oh, and by the way, this is only on debit card purchases. Automatic withdrawals will still be subject to the fees. So that’s good news, bad news, bad news?
