A magnitude 7 quake hit Haiti.

They say its the most powerful one on record. It was followed by two aftershocks (5.9 and 5.5). The epicenter has been said to have been ten miles west of Port-au-Prince, the capital. The presidential palace, national cathedral and parliament have been destroyed.
