New Orleans is the new Detroit.

New Orleans’ current mail receiving population is three fourths the size it was before the storm. However, four years after Hurricane Katrina, New Orleans has the same number of abandoned or vacant residences as Detroit, Michigan. Keep in mind that Detroit is twice as big as New Orleans. Sigh.
