What’s the truth got to do with it?

The good people at the Investor’s Business Daily took a page from the Sarah-Palin-Truth-We-Don’t-Need-No-Stinking-Truth Handbook when they crafted a tale the horrific national system of health care in Great Britain. Why, according to them, scientist Stephen Hawking would not have been allowed to live under their system of “rationing and the health consequences thereof”  because of his physical limitations. The only problem with that beautiful piece of creative writing is that Stephen Hawking is British and he credits the National Health Service and their practices with saving his life. Should I be thankful that no Nazi-related slurs were used?
