Seriously? No… Seriously?

I am all for diversity on television. Really and truly. Nothing can be wrong with attempting to show more of the real world as it truly is, full of people in all ages, shapes, sizes

and colors. However, I really don’t get the Root’s latest appeal for African American representation on the Bachelor(ette). I hope this was humor writing because the one and a half episodes of the program that I have wasted part of my life on were month-old rancid garbage. There was the guy who chose a woman, proposed, then dumped. Okay, they say there were several of those, but I’m talking about the one who did it on the show. Then there was this chick this year who ran off every guy who had a genuine interest in marrying her. Real prize there.  I’m sorry, but I have no problem with my ethnic group being excluded from the huge group of losers that comprises the vast majority of the star participants of this show.
