South Carolina and the Republican party ought to get tired of people whose stupid actions are portraying them as stupid bigots.  Really. Maybe a memo can be circulated or something. Also, a note to any people who have ever anticipate (or don’t) being in the public eye: If you’re not a racist, how about you refrain from racist comments and jokes on your facebook, twitter, and personal web sites, k? Then you don’t have to insult anybody’s intelligence with attempts at justification or the phony apologies that always come afterward.
