Real thoughts.

I remember when my mother’s brother was gunned down in his house. I remember thinking how in the world do you just walk up on somebody in his house and shoot him? What could possibly be gained from all of that? Then I remembered being so thankful to God that his daughter had plans that kept her from being home when all of that happened. I feel so badly for this family right now.

And the families of the students in Arkansas.

But the family of that kid at the gun show? They are just throwed off. HARD. How do you SUPERVISE an EIGHT YEAR OLD with a submachine gun? It’s questionable enough to have him at the gun show, but to have him HANDLING weaponry? UGH.

Back to what’s important

Max is learning his ABCs (singing and ASL). Every time he gets to a letter he is not so sure about, he stops and goes back to A. Bless his little heart. Even with the challenges my family is facing as we prepare for my Dad’s procedures and the whole juggling act that is my regular life, I know we are blessed to have each other.
