Texting madness.

I like my gadgets.  Computers, computer gadgets, cell gadgets, car gadgets. Bring it on. Scrapbooking gadgets – I’m there. 🙂 I text from time to time. I text my friends and especially my sisters. As a matter of fact a little while ago, I shot one of them a line to watch her mailbox for something I sent. But there is one thing I do not get at all (make that two – talking on the cell phone while driving is against the law in my state, but texting while driving is not).

What is up with text messaging on bikes, while skating, driving, on a segway (which I have to say is stupidity at its finest), even while riding a horse? What the world could somebody possibly have to say that would be worth a risk of being thrown off of a horse? That mess hurts.

It’s gotten to the point that emergency room physicians are warning the public about this hot mess. I can’t wait to see the public service announcement/catchy slogan they come up with.
