Maybe I’m selfish

But when I’m 70 years old (if I am so blessed), my children will be good and middle aged. My oldest will have gray hairs coming in here and there. But paying money for IVF (not to mention going through egg harvesting and implantation AND hormones) so I can have a kid? Who I have to run around after in my 70’s? Whew. Can’t see it. At all. This woman had two daughters and five granddaughters but she and her husband wanted a BOY? So they did this? As the mother of three boys (and I treasure my boys, don’t get me wrong), I still can’t see it at 70.
