In the right place at the right time.

This rainy and cold morning, I was taking Al to school and we ran into stay still traffic. It was not going anywhere. I was concerned about not getting to school on time because traffic was so backed up. The funny thing was that because we were stuck in the van with nothing to do but wait, we heard a really interesting message on the radio. It was simple, but it was deep about the way that we have to be open to life working out a little differently than we plan. About not losing heart even in the midst of the insurmountable. I needed that message so much. A few minutes ago, I made time to catch up on an old friend. And an incredible opportunity presented itself. Everything is not perfect in my life by any means, but it is good to be in the right place at the right time every now and then.
