This morning.

While I was helping everybody go to where they needed to be, Max walked  up to me and hugged me around the knees (which is where he reaches these days). I think he was a little upset because by the time he woke up, everybody had moved downstairs and he couldn’t find anybody upstairs. He looked a little scared, so I picked him up and reassured him that I wouldn’t leave him alone, which was all that he needed. With all of these grownup challenges, I sure could use a hug like that from time to time. 😀
