the victories of friends.

February is just about over. I’m still wrapping my head around that concept. My Al turned 11 this month and my Nat turned 8. They are getting so big. So many challenges lie ahead for me in my quest to put myself out of a job by the time they reach adulthood. Sigh. My youngest two have been BUSY today, but that’s par for the course. Maybe this means they will be ready for bed later. Hope springs eternal.  Next week hubby will be in Southern Cal. No doubt sunny while we deal with the lush mist and rain of the Pacific Northwest. And explaining to little people (and bigger people) that their father will be back soon. I am happy, though, because one of my friends got the news she has long been waiting for. That’s the good thing about having friends and family, when life is not so great for me, I can be happy because of their successes and triumphs.
