The rest of the week made me really thankful that I have help around the house in the form of my husband. Next week it will be Al’s turn to be thankful because he will be picking up the slack with most of his papa’s chores. LOLOL.
I am so ready to take on the rest of my week. To charge forward and do the stuff that I have set out to do since the end of last year! I had an AMAZING weekend with a wonderful friend and no kids. Hee hee hee. I learned that that mineral makeup REALLY works for me. I took a photo and was lookin GOOODDD… LOLOL. I learned that pomegranate martinis with that pear cinnamon froth are a wonderful thing, delicious yet very potent. I learned that it is not a good thing when your sister, your homie, says she is bringing cab fare when y’all go out. I mean what is up with that? I’m pretty well behaved. Most of the time. I also learned that when you are standing at the top of the Space Needle and you start to see the joint move, and feel it move, it’s best to find somewhere to sit down. Laying on the grates of the outdoor observation deck screaming, “Lawd! OH LAWD! Help meeeee!” is not a good look. at all.
It was a weekend of surpassed expectations. There were a few times this weekend when I looked around and was like, THIS IS GOOD! Better than I expected. LOL. Much better. I bought a new pair of pants and they are fierce. And drink resistant. Not to mention the Sunday Brunch that I had to end all Sunday brunches. The best thing about that was even though there was an unreal selection, most of it was healthy. All kinds of fresh fruits and vegetables. So I could enjoy it, but I am going to be walking and jogging a lot the next couple of weeks. It was worth it.
I can not wait to go back. I am going to have to drag the fam. In the Spring. It WAS a little nippy at points.I’m thankful my husband is back and thankful I had a weekend off. Like I said, I’m totally recharged and refreshed and ready to go.
