Last year I read a ton of books. The year before, I did some bios of African Americans who everyone had not heard of. They are in the February Archives for those who want to look em up. I’m working on a book right now. Maybe two, so maybe I’ll do some more book reviews. But the whole point of the things I do during the month )and during the rest of the year) is to build a foundation for my children. Al just knows to do his reading assignments. LOL. So they can know who they come from, and feel that the people who they are, right now, are descended from a line of intelligent and magnificent creations of God.
I like Ledisi. A lot. From the first time I heard her. I liked her jazz infused performances, but when I saw her, I just thought she was this beautiful brown skinned queen. Just the way she is. Not hurting herself to look like a concept.
