back from the festival

We went to the food festival last night. It was really nice. We all found some new and pretty good stuff. There was everything from Greek to barbecue to pizza. I ate lots of veggies and really did not have nearly the appetite I thought I would have. My favorite thing was the chicken satay (though I think I’m getting into a food rut, but hey, it was good) and cucumber noodles.
There was a giant sandbox, which little A and Max played in. There were also nice beers and wines on hand as well and plenty of public affection being displayed. I’ve never been the type to be all over a man in public. What’s that about. Maybe it was the wine or something. Hee hee. We left before the fireworks because the kids were getting a bit tired and I know when to let them go home, get settled and go to bed. My digital camera either needs new batteries or has given up the ghost. I hope it is the former, but I DO have my eye on a couple of tricked out SLRs (and accessories) in case things don’t work out. We’ll see.
