Attack of the Beer Drones

Well sort of.

My husband and I were a couple of minutes late to the screening of Once, an indie flick, which was playing at one of the theaters downtown which specializes in arthouse type movies. The movie was really good. So good, in fact, that you don’t even notice that the leads don’t have names. It was a musical, and the music, though it could be quite melancholy, was very passionate. The ending was not what usually happens in love stories, but it was still acceptable yet thought provoking. I was a little skeptical of going to the arthouse theater, but I’m so glad I followed my husband’s lead (although he almost led us to the wrong parking garage on the way back – hee hee).
After the movie, we went to the tapas spot next to Typhoon. It was SO cute. They had these cute silk pillows and the whole zen, but not too zen motif going on. There were even more exotic drinks and plates with curries, spring rolls and stuff like that. We knew it was time to go, though, when people who had attended the beer festival on the riverfront started to trickle in. How did we know it was them? They sat down and asked, so what kind of food do you serve? They saw the bar, and just had a seat. LOL.
