The Lord works in mysterious ways. This morning, I was roused out of bed by what sounded like a wolf or something. My first thought was to look at the clock. The alarm had not been set the night before and there was no way I’d get my full workout this morning. I was really disappointed, but it turned out that I would get my full day’s worth of exercise and beyond today.
Our neighbors have a new terrier who likes to bark. Oh joy. In the window, it appeared that the road, sidewalk and lawn of every house on my street had disappeared. It had been snowing, and not just the lightweight blanket we received a week ago, either. EVERYTHING was covered in white.
The weatherman had said that there would be two inches of snow at the most today. There was supposed to be a SLIGHT CHANCE OF SNOW. As in, maybe some slushy stuff, but nothing sticking. Unfortunately, it didnt look like it was going to let up any time soon, so I made the journey to get some necessities for the baby. I thought the whole thing through. Parked on the edge of the lot so that I wouldnt have to navigate the parking lot and/or hit cars if it got icy. Parked near the sidewalk so that I could roll my cart out to the car without risking getting hit by wayward cars. Yep pushing a shopping cart through about four inches of snow on an inclined sidewalk is GOOD exercise indeed.
