Good, almost clean. wholesome fun.

Gingerbread season is about to start. Most of the time Al has a school function or something that demands a little cottage, while we all work on a larger house for the family. It’s fun, but sometimes assembly is not so straightforward. I’ve got the royal icing down pat, and that stuff will keep anything together (we DO have to break that joker apart with a hammer almost around christmas eve…lol). It’s just a matter of the gingerbread quality working out. It has to be sturdy enough to stay together, yet soft enough on the inside to be edible after the holidays. Once I get that consistent quality (the last few years have been a hit, so who knows) maybe I’ll do something on a larger scale with the gingerbread.
