According to the whiteboard in my son’s classroom, there are 42 days remaining in the school year. That means eight weeks and change and all of my kids will have completed elementary school. My youngest is exhibiting signs of preteendom and in some ways my daughter is already acting like the moody artist I was in high school (never mind that she is in sixth grade). And she likes to swipe my shoes. At least she has good taste.
We had a sunny day, so the kids and I went to the tulip farm. At first, Miss A wanted to stay home but by the time we got close, she was enthusiastic about getting there. I was too.
